Create balance through Somassage®

Developed from Soma Structural Integration theories, Somassage® is a stand-alone, specialized form of bodywork focused on the fascial system. It uses specific depth and directionality to advance the client toward optimal efficiency, wellness and balance. Somassage addresses the full-body organization of the fascial structure while recognizing the unique qualities of each individual.

The extensive hands-on workshop gives you skills to work with ease while you support others. This workshop is open to all – those with absolutely no touch experience – as well as massage therapists. To receive all the wisdom of this workshop, you are invited to have an open mind and leave your previous experience behind.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will have permission to use the Somassage® trademark and the prerequisite foundational knowledge to start our full Soma Structural Integration Certificate program.

Somassage® Workshop Details

Class Times: 9am to 6pm.

Cost: $665 Early Bird Special ends 3 weeks before the workshop date. After that, full price is $750.

CE Hours: 32 (4 Ethics)
This course meets Oregon and Washington state massage CE requirements. For other states, please check your state requirements.

Lodging: We have beds available to rent by the night in our Soma House next door to the school. Contact us for details

Required Forms & Cancellation Policy

All workshop participants are required to complete Intake Forms before the start of the workshop.

The Soma Institute Privacy Policy

Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellation made greater than 30 days before the start of the course—90% of payment refund.
  • Cancellations made between 30 days and 12 days before the start of the course—50% payment refund.
  • Cancellation made between 12 and 0 days before the start of the course—no refund.
  • If an attendee becomes unable to attend due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, then their registration will be transferred to another, future Soma Essentials workshop, to be taken within 2 years. Extenuating circumstances may be considered for a refund.
  • A minimum number of participants is required to hold the workshop, if the number is not met you will be notified and refunded 15-30 days prior to the workshop.

You’ll have the tools you need to get licensed and work confidently as a Soma Structural Integration Bones Study practitioner and licensed massage therapist. The Soma Institute is unique in that it offers a dual Structural Integration and massage licensing program. Soma Structural Integration is a powerful form of advanced myofascial release massage that mobilizes fascia and integrates new patterns of movement through an 11-Session Series.
